pv Range for GLYCODUR® Bearings at Dry Running

When determining the bearing size, the pv diagrams below may be used to give an indication of a given bearing can be used under the actual operating conditions (load, sliding velocity).If the check reveals that operating data is within area Ι, then the service life Gh can be determined by using the equation shown here.

If the area ΙΙ is obtained, then we recommend contacting one of our experts, or  verifying the suitability of the bearing by an advance test. If necessary, the bearing size should be modified in such a way that the value for the product p×v reaches area Ι. The service life approximation as well es the pv diagrams for GLYCODUR® F bearings  are valid for dry running only.

ΙΙ Possible area of application at optimum conditions, e. g. heat dissipation.
